Jewish Abolitionist Movement
The Jewish Abolitionist Movement (JAM) is created in the belief that the Jewish people have a special role to play when it comes to the work of abolition: freeing slaves and creating a world where survivors can thrive. We will assist you to grow a thriving abolitionist program in your backyard by providing platforms for active engagement.
Jewish People Living Differently
The JAM challenges followers of the Torah to Live Differently by faithfully engaging in the work of modern-day abolition. We must stand and walk with the 30 million enslaved. It is time to combat human trafficking in our backyards and around the globe.
The JAM includes four action steps for you to choose from to participate in:
- Relate Differently – Help curb the demand the drives sex trafficking in your backyard.
- Buy Differently – Participate in a campaign to end child trafficking in the chocolate industry.
- Work Differently – Work with your company to pledge to eradicate forced labor from its supply chain or work within the abolitionist movement.
- Play Differently – Athletes in your congregation raising awareness and funds.
Jewish Abolitionist Movement Commitments
